It’s been four years since Sherry DeGraffenreidt lost her oldest son, LaCharles Edwards.
Edwards was shot eight times on Wooding Avenue on Aug. 21, 2007; Larry Witcher, was accused of killing Edmonds within days of the shooting. He was held at Central State Hospital until he was brought to trial in 2009. Witcher was found not guilty by reason of insanity, and was transferred to Southern Virginia Mental Health Institute in Danville for continued treatment. Story continues here >>>
