FRANKLIN — A Macon County man believed his mother was the Whore of Babylon and was trying to poison him when he shot her and burned her body in the backyard, according to court testimony today.
Harold Jason Campbell would later tell a doctor at a state mental hospital that he was getting computer messages directing him to kill his mother in 2006.
