HIGH POINT – Health officials are watching closely state legislation aimed at consolidating human service agencies across the sate and creating regional health groups.
Bills seeking to streamline services wandered through the General Assembly this year and are in position to get consideration again next year, Health Director Merle Green told the Guilford County Board of Health. “We are pretty sure that these bills will come up again,” Green said Monday. “The legislators want to save money.”
