Editorial: Support mental health initiative – Clayton News Star

It is, perhaps, the most forgotten, forlorn segment of our population.

Those people with severe mental illness and addictions are more likely to end up in jail than the average person. They’re more likely to end up homeless. They are more likely to be uninsured.

But Johnston County’s mental health leadership has heard the public’s desire to keep mental health care provided locally.
