The Daily Advance – Counties withdraw from AMHC

Area counties this week began extricating themselves from the troubled Albemarle Mental Health Center and joining East Carolina Behavioral Health.
Since July, the New Bern-based East Carolina Behavioral Health has been managing mental health and related services in the 10 counties formerly served by Albemarle Mental Health Center.
