Observer News Enterprise – Therapeutic foster training starts Monday

Catawba County Department of Social Services is holding classes for county residents to become therapeutic foster parents.

The program focuses on building the self-esteem of clients through family-based treatment in a consistent and loving environment.

“Our program provides a balance of structure and nurturing,” said Regina Arrowood, social worker at Catawba County DSS.
