WILMINGTON, N.C. — A North Carolina congressman is asking the Defense Department to look into allegations that a whistleblower had good personnel reviews changed to bad after he was fired.
Rep. Walter Jones is a Republican whose district includes Camp Lejeune. Jones demanded a new investigation after Salon.com obtained documents that show how officials at Camp Lejeune changed Dr. Kernan Manion’s favorable evaluations to unsatisfactory.
