Six Republican candidates pursuing three state legislative offices took part in a political forum Tuesday night at The Gaston Gazette.

Sponsored by the Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Gazette, the event attracted an audience of about 130 people and brought together candidates who are facing opposition in the May 4 primary. No local Democrats seeking state legislative office have primary opposition in this election cycle.
