His past makes Pugh powerful mental health advocate – Ahseville Courier-Tribune

Anthony Pugh of Asheboro was recognized on Sept. 10 as Advocate of the Year at the annual N.C. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI-NC) conference in Raleigh. Pugh has been on a path of recovery with his mental illness for many years and has been a positive influence in the community by sharing life experiences with individuals and groups in the Randolph County area.
