In early April of 2004, two men on a mission showed up at a mental health center in Raeford.
They wanted to get help for a third man they brought with them, Abdullah El-Amin Shareef. Shareef’s family believed he had started a fire that led to his mother’s death and destroyed the family home, according to testimony in Cumberland County Superior Court last week.
