WENTWORTH — A financial review ordered by Rockingham County officials last month revealed a large operating deficit at a private agency that serves people with disabilities.
The funding for Rockingham Opportunities Corp. “simply won’t support its cost structure so the company must learn to live within its means, ” concluded Phil Smith, an accountant with CenterPoint CFO in Charlotte.
