At their regular monthly meeting Monday, caregivers from several Iredell County agencies heard from an Asheville-based disabled persons advocate.
Kirby Morrow, of the group Disabled Rights North Carolina, explained to the nearly two dozen Iredell caregivers that those with physical and mental disabilities have the same rights as all other citizens, but that sometimes those rights are ignored.
