KENANSVILLE — Budget woes are forcing services to the area’s mentally ill population to be cut, making it necessary for them to seek other avenues for service or do without.

Officials with Duplin and Sampson’s local lanagement entity (LME), Eastpointe, for services to persons with a mental illness, developmental disability and/or substance abuse issue, are reporting that due to the cuts in their funding, they are forced to cut back services. Story continues here ➤
