The Robesonian – Home health care getting shortchanged by Medicaid

Yesterday marked the end of Home Care Month. In years past this event was more highly noted; however, this year the fiscal issues have clouded the picture. While Medicare has ratcheted down some, Medicaid has taken careful aim at the industry.

While most programs have people and organizations that beat the system — a static system is by its nature beatable — one has to be careful not to lump everyone together.
