Local mental health agencies are bracing for the impact of state budget cuts that a regional administrator warned will devastate community-based mental health providers. The General Assembly had agreed to reduce funding by $10 million statewide but changed the amount to $40 million at the last minute — a 10 percent reduction, said Arthur Carder, CEO of Western Highlands Network CEO.
