Plan for psychiatric emergency center moves forward with state's approval – Winston-Salem Journal

The creation of a 24-hour psychiatric emergency department in Winston-Salem took a big step forward with the state’s recent approval of a $13.8 million center at Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services.

If Old Vineyard accepts the state’s five conditions, which its top executive said yesterday that it would, construction on the center could begin next spring, with an opening in January 2011. Read More Here >
