More than 100 people gathered in the Porter Center for Performing Arts Monday night to listen to a panel discussion about “Substance Abuse, Mental Illness and the Law.”
“We fear what we do not understand,” said Di Ucci, moderator of the discussion and health resources navigator for Transylvania Regional Hospital.
“Fear is diminished through understanding.”
