WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A mental health hotline that has provided listening ears and free advice for nearly 40 years will be disconnected at the end of July because of a decline in calls and funding. The Contact Helpline, run by Family Services of Forsyth, Stokes and Davie Counties, had been averaging about 5,000 calls every year.
