Mental health facility focuses on recovery – Statesville Record & Landmark

In an effort to put more emphasis on the recovery side of mental health treatment, Crossroads Behavioral Healthcare recently opened the Pathways Transitional Supportive House. The six-bed facility, which sits in an undisclosed location, is designed to help 18- to 65-year-old men with persistent mental illness and/or substance abuse problems make a step toward independent living, Crossroads spokeswoman Catherine Arnold said.
