The return of inpatient mental health care to Harnett County inched closer Friday as the reopening of 16 beds in Erwin got a thumbs-up from county commissioners.
A study by Raleigh-based consultants found that reopening the psychiatric unit at Good Hope Hospital in Erwin is financially viable, and the commissioners voted to pursue funding for the $4.5million renovation project. Story continues here ➤
