CenterPoint Human Services said yesterday that it will not face as dire a budget cut after all.
The mental-health agency said that a $1.5 million allocation from a pilot hospital program has been restored for fiscal year 2009-10.
Without that pilot funding, CenterPoint was staring at a nearly $3.8 million reduction in financing from state and other sources. Story continues here ➤
