A private, nonprofit school aimed at providing an educational alternative for students with behavioral or academic problems has shut its doors, officials confirmed Tuesday.
The New Generation Academy, located in the old Agnes Fullilove School building in west Greenville, opened Oct. 5 as a certified non-public institution for kindergarten through 12th grade. It closed Monday due to a lack of funding, according to co-founder Frank Edwards. Story continues here ➤
