The opening of a 24-hour psychiatric emergency department in Forsyth County has been put on hold by the appeal of a psychiatric hospital in Raleigh. In July, the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation conditionally approved a certificate-of-need application for a $13.8 million center at Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services.
